The most celebrated theatre practitioner in Singapore
Kuo Pao Kun is probably the most celebrated playwright in Singapore.
Pao Kun studied dramatic art in Sydney and has been one of Singapore’s most important theatre practitioners for over thirty years with his company, The Practice Performing Arts School.
He has written numerous plays which have become some of the most performed and studied contemporary Asian works of their kind.
He is presently opening a new theatre school in Singapore called The Theatre Training and Research Programme.
